A SPECIAL-OPS THRILLER TO OUT THRILL OTHER SPECIAL-OPS THRILLERS!
If you love Jason Bourne and Jack Ryan, you’re going to love Courtland “Court” Gentry a.k.a. THE GRAY MAN in Mark Greaney’s new novel, ONE MINUTE OUT(Berkley)! This new thriller takes off like a banchee and doesn’t let up until 493 action-packed pages later! I started it and kept reading all the way through. By now, you know my obsession with all things spy thriller, government spooks and international intrigue.
THE GRAY MAN has scene some horrific things in his career as a covert agency assassin, but nothing prepares him when he stumbles upon an international human trafficking ring! He’s in Bosnia to take out one of the Balkan War left-over criminals and ends up in a room filled with woman and children getting prepared to be sold! This new op will take him through Europe all the way up into the Hollywood Hills.
There are so many layers to Court Gentry. The guy is an assassin, but one you ‘re going to root for as he exposes some of the most evil people on this planet. Greaney’s character, “Court” walks a fine moral balancing act. The sad thing about this novel is that human trafficking is real and it’s happening in this world. It’s the third largest money making business after drugs and counterfeiting. I had to wonder how this can be, but I realize that evil has no limits. In addition to being an amazing novel, Mark Greaney highlights one of the worst crimes in this world. And if you think, the USA is immune to this scourge, think again.
THE FIRST GRAY MAN NOVEL FROM #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR MARK GREANEY
“Hard, fast, and unflinching—exactly what a thriller should be.”—Lee Child
To those who lurk in the shadows, he’s known as the Gray Man. He is a legend in the covert realm, moving silently from job to job, accomplishing the impossible and then fading away. And he always hits his target. Always.
But there are forces more lethal than Gentry in the world. Forces like money. And power. And there are men who hold these as the only currency worth fighting for. And in their eyes, Gentry has just outlived his usefulness.
But Court Gentry is going to prove that, for him, there’s no gray area between killing for a living and killing to stay alive…
