Anne Youngson worked for many years in senior management in the car industry before embarking on a creative career as a writer. She has supported many charities in governance roles, including Chair of the Writers in Prison Network, which provided residencies in prisons for writers. She lives in Oxfordshire and is married with two children and three grandchildren to date. Meet Me at the Museum is her debut novel, which is due to be published around the world.

  2. i love going to museums and seeing everything that you don’t see every day. beautiful works of art, artifacts, items from distant past. i like learning new things from the exhibits.

  3. I love museums because it’s an unexpected learning experience. Rather than scripted and boring, it brings freshness to whatever subject.

  4. I especially love Art Museums. I love to look at a painting or textile piece and imagine the artist investing of themselves. One time, I noticed a paint brush hair in a Georgia O’Keefe painting…it brought me to tears. Crazy, but true.

  5. I love all kinds of museums, more than my son or husband do but we were impressed in Washington DC and the museums there. There are some great smaller ones in Yellowstone Park and near Glacier that are awesome.

  6. I only been to small ones I hope to someday visit the Smithsonian! I love learning about everything… The history and culture. It so neat to see what there.

  7. I enjoy seeing the history when I visit a museum. My high school senior class went to Washington DC on our trip, but we didn’t have nearly enough time at the Smithsonian!
