Now, this is the 4th and final installment of the GREEN KIDS CLUB, unless we hear from you, telling us you want more.
What is the Green Kids Club?
Green Kids Club is designed to teach young children ( 5-11) the importance of environmental stewardship through picture books. The series was developed to teach children the importance of protecting habitats, to sustain ecosystems, animal and ultimately human life. Difficult environmental issues such as poaching, habitat, encroachment, etc. are part of the stories.
IN GRIZZLY GHOST BEAR ….
The Green Kids Club are heading up to the Pacific Northwest where they may see Grizzlies.
Victor and Maya are visiting their friend Machk in the Great Northwest for some hiking and sightseeing where glaciers can be seen on the horizon. There are so many animals to be seen, but the only one they are prepared to miss is the Grizzly Bear. They have their bear repellant spray and are ready to let the bears know they are in the area. What lesson will the Green Kids learn from the Grizzly Ghost Bear?
There are wonderful words about the importance of THE GRIZZLY GHOST BEAR, at the beginning of the book, from renown American Zookeeper, Jack Hanna, who has endorsed the GREEN KIDS CLUB.
For a chance to win the GRIZZLY GHOST BEAR book and doll, tell us what you do to be “green.” Just leave a comment and we’ll announce a winner next week.
